It can be difficult learning a new craft and it is often those silly little questions that we find difficult to get answers too. I’ll start you off…. What type of needle do I use to start needle felting? I would recommend a 36 guage triangle because it is a good all rounder and is stronger than the finer guage needles that beginners can all too easily break.  As you become more experienced you can try other needles, for example a finer guage crown finishing needle for making your work nice and smooth.
